Multimedia Journalism & Digital Content Intern (UlizaLinks Media)

Internship Opportunity:

At UlizaLinks Media, we are building a bold and fast-growing digital media platform focused on news, storytelling, and engaging content across Kenya and beyond. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and self-driven Multimedia Journalism & Digital Content Intern ready to gain real hands-on experience in the media industry.

This is not a sit-back internship — you will be actively involved in content creation, reporting, and building a media brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and publish articles on UlizaLinks.co.ke across:
  • Politics
    
  • Entertainment
    
  • Business
    
  • General news
    
• Create and design social media content (posters, reels, short videos) using Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar tools
  
• Assist in managing and posting content across social media platforms
  
• Conduct on-ground interviews and assist in field reporting
  
• Support in planning, recording, and editing podcasts and interviews
  
• Participate in on-camera presentations (news snippets, interviews, content pieces)
  
• Assist in basic camera setup and production
  
• Contribute ideas for trending and engaging content
  

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a course in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, or related field
  
• Strong interest in media, storytelling, and digital content
  
• Basic writing skills and willingness to learn
  
• Interest in social media content creation
  
• Confidence (or willingness to grow) in appearing on camera
  
• Self-driven, disciplined, and eager to learn
