RESPONSIBILITIES

Propagate trees, grasses and ornamental plants through seed collection, cuttings, and other vegetative methodsMaintain nursery stock through watering, weeding, potting, pruning, and pest controlMonitor plant health, growth rates, and survival within the nurseryPrepare plants for dispatch to project or conservation sitesMaintain nursery infrastructure, tools, and irrigation systemsKeep accurate nursery records including species, quantities, and growth stagesSupport environmental and landscaping teams with plant supply planningInnovate and come up with ways to mechanize nursery operationsWork with City Manager and Head of Procurement to commercialise the Tatu City nurseryEnsure nursery practices comply with environmental and sustainability standards
