Odoo ERP Consultant

Our client, a leading business solutions provider specializing in ERP, CRM, HRMS and digital transformation solutions that helps businesses streamline operations and accelerate growth through innovative technology solutions and based in Nairobi, is seeking to fill an Odoo ERP Consultant role.

JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their business processes, recommend Odoo ERP solutions, configure the system, conduct user training, and provide implementation and post-go-live support. This role requires a blend of functional business knowledge, analytical skills, and excellent client engagement capabilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  
• Gather and analyze client business requirements through workshops and discussions.
  
• Map business processes to Odoo ERP best practices and recommend optimal solutions.
  
• Configure Odoo modules based on client requirements.
  
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and implementation documentation.
  
• Coordinate with technical developers to deliver customizations and integrations.
  
• Conduct system demonstrations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
  
• Support ERP implementation, data migration, and go-live activities.
  
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot functional issues.
  
• Assist clients in process improvement and ERP adoption.
  
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
  
• Stay updated with new Odoo features, releases, and industry best practices.
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  
• 2–5 years of experience in ERP implementation or business consulting.
  
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementations is preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, or Projects.
  
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.
  
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required
