# About ZARIBEE
ZARIBEE Kenya Limited is a Nairobi-based company that provides asset finance for income-generating motorcycles. We support Boda Boda riders by providing them with access to their own vehicles through structured payment plans — helping them build their livelihoods and ultimately own their motorcycles. Since
launch, we have supported over 5,000 riders across Kenya. ZARIBEE is not just a finance provider; we walk alongside our customers throughout the entire contract period with hands-on operational support.
# About the Role
We are hiring Operations Staff — an entry-level generalist position that serves as the starting point for all operations roles at ZARIBEE.
You will not be assigned to a fixed role from the beginning. Instead, you will go through a structured onboarding program to understand our customers and operations from the ground level:
1. Field Training (at least 2 weeks) — Work directly with Boda Boda riders through marketing activities and customer interviews to understand their needs and challenges
2. Office Training — Learn internal operations, processes, and systems across different teams
3. Role Assignment — Based on your performance, strengths, and business needs, you will be assigned to one of the following teams:
Customer Service:
Handle customer inquiries, explain contract details, support customers through the booking and dispatch process
KYC:
Verify customer identities and documents to ensure our services reach honest, hardworking riders who genuinely intend to build their livelihoods
Supply Chain Management:
Manage motorcycle orders and stock, coordinate vehicle preparation and inspection, ensure timely dispatch to customers
Customer Success (Rider Management):
Build relationships with riders, monitor payment status, visit customers in the field, and support them to succeed
Insurance:
Support customers in reporting accidents and incidents, guide them through insurance procedures, and follow up on claims
Your role title will change upon assignment. This is a career path — not just a job.
# What We Are Looking For

Essential:
- Willingness to work both in the field and at the office, and engage with customers directly
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Agility to adapt to new environments and learn quickly
- Patience to grow and openness to feedback
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written)
Desirable:
- Experience in customer-facing roles
- Experience in a start-up environment
- Familiarity with the lending or motorcycle industry in Kenya
# Terms of Employment
Employment Status: Full-time
Contract Period:
6 months (renewable). First 3 months is a probation period with an examination at the end
Compensation:
Ksh 30,000 - Ksh 60,000 (depending on competency)
Working Hours:
Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (including 1 hour lunch). Saturday is a half-day
