Operations Transformation Consultant – Fixed Broadband (M/F)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a senior freelance Operations Transformation Consultant to support strategic transformation initiatives across fixed broadband operations in GPON and HFC environments in Kenya.

The consultant will work on an embedded basis with operational, technical and customer-facing teams to improve QoS, QoE, operational efficiency and service performance through practical and measurable transformation initiatives.

The assignment requires strong expertise in telecom operations transformation, service assurance, field operations, operational governance and process optimisation within complex telecom environments.

Contract Type: Consultancy Contract | 6 Months Renewable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive operational transformation across broadband operations
• Improve maintenance, field operations and customer support processes
• Strengthen incident, change and service management practices
• Improve operational governance, KPI tracking and automation
• Enhance field organisation, execution quality and responsiveness
• Support QoS & QoE improvement programs
• Build stronger operational reporting and accountability routines

Required Profile:

• 10+ years of experience in telecom operations or broadband transformation
• Strong expertise in GPON and HFC operational environments
• Proven experience in Managed Services / Partner Management
• Experience in service assurance, field operations and operational governance
• Strong background in process improvement and operational performance programs
• Experience in African or complex operational environments is a strong advantage
