Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Identify, pitch, and close advertising deals with clients across the maritime, shipping, logistics, and port sectors.
  • Develop tailored advertising proposals based on client objectives and SeaNews’ digital offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation to contract finalization.

Account Management
  • Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through consistent communication and performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with advertisers to optimize campaigns and ensure KPIs are met.

Market & Product Expertise
  • Stay informed on maritime industry trends and challenges relevant to SeaNews’ audience. [seanews.co.uk]
  • Understand SeaNews’ content streams, newsletter reach, and audience demographics to effectively position ad opportunities.
  • Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to align advertising placements with content strategy.

Campaign Coordination
  • Oversee accurate execution and timely delivery of advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure creatives, tracking links, and deliverables meet expectations.

Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare sales forecasts, campaign performance reports, and revenue updates.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and documentation for all sales activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in advertising sales, B2B media sales, or digital media partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising formats (display, native, sponsorships, newsletters).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of the maritime, logistics, or shipping sectors is highly advantageous given SeaNews' niche audience. [seanews.co.uk]
