About Tegis Group
Tegis Group is a technology solutions company helping organizations modernize, secure, and scale their businesses through cloud, data, and digital transformation services. We partner with the world's leading technology providers to deliver best-in-class solutions to our clients across [regions/industries].
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious Partner Alliance Trainee to join our alliances team and learn the craft of managing strategic technology partnerships with the world's leading cloud providers — Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (Azure), and Google Cloud.
Working closely with the Partner Alliance Manager, you will get hands-on exposure to how a technology company builds, grows, and monetizes hyperscaler partnerships: co-selling with partner sales teams, managing partner portals, unlocking partner funding, and running joint marketing campaigns. This is a structured learning role designed to develop you into a full Alliance Manager, with mentorship, sponsored certifications, and increasing ownership over time.
No prior alliance experience is required — we are looking for curiosity, energy, strong organization, and a genuine interest in cloud technology and partnerships.
What You Will DoPartner Program Administration
- Maintain and update our records in partner portals (AWS Partner Central, Microsoft Partner Center, Google Cloud Partner Advantage) under guidance.
- Track certifications, competency requirements, and program deadlines to help Tegis Group maintain and advance its partner tier status.
- Register and update co-sell opportunities in partner systems (e.g., AWS ACE pipeline) and keep CRM records aligned.
Co-Sell & Pipeline Support
- Support the Alliance Manager in preparing for partner meetings, joint account planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews — including agendas, briefing notes, and follow-ups.
- Research target accounts and map partner field sellers to Tegis Group territories and opportunities.
- Help track partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and prepare regular KPI reports for leadership.
Marketing & Enablement
- Coordinate logistics for joint webinars, events, and campaigns with alliance partners and our marketing team.
- Help draft partner-facing content such as solution one-pagers, case study inputs, and internal enablement updates.
- Attend partner events and training sessions, sharing learnings with the wider team.
Your Learning Path
- Months 1–3: Learn the fundamentals — partner programs, portals, and processes. Complete foundational cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft AZ-900, Google Cloud Digital Leader).
- Months 3–12: Take ownership of defined workstreams such as portal management, funding claims, and KPI reporting. Begin joining partner field conversations.
- Months 12–24: Manage day-to-day aspects of one partner relationship with supervision, with a path to promotion into an Alliance Manager role based on performance.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (or final-year student / recent graduate) in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
- Genuine interest in cloud technology and the partner ecosystems of AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — comfortable managing trackers, deadlines, and documentation.
- Confident communicator, in writing and in person, with the professionalism to engage external partner contacts.
- Proactive, coachable, and eager to learn — you ask questions, take feedback well, and follow through.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; exposure to CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Internship or work experience in sales, marketing, channel, or the tech industry.
- A foundational cloud certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft AZ-900, or Google Cloud Digital Leader).
- Experience organizing events, student societies, or projects that show initiative and coordination skills.
What We Offer
- A structured trainee program with a named mentor and a clear path to Alliance Manager.
- Fully sponsored certifications and training with AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud.
- Competitive trainee salary with progression reviews every [6/12] months.
- [Benefits: health coverage, pension/retirement plan, paid leave, etc.]
- Exposure to senior leadership and the world's largest technology companies early in your career.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where your contributions are visible.
