Pattern Maker

Our client is seeking to hire a Pattern Maker who will be responsible for creating patterns for garment production, ensuring accurate and efficient pattern creation to match the design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 
   
2. Create and modify patterns based on design sketches and measurements.
   
3. Develop patterns for production, ensuring fit, style, and fabric compatibility.
   
4. Test patterns by making samples and adjusting as needed.
   
5. Collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure design integrity.
   
6. Maintain pattern records and ensure they are properly stored.
   
7. Interpret technical drawings and translate designs into accurate production-ready patterns.
   
8. Grade patterns to different sizes while maintaining fit and design consistency.
   
9. Conduct fittings and incorporate feedback to refine patterns.
   
10. Ensure patterns meet production efficiency and cost considerations.
    
11. Work closely with sample machinists to resolve construction challenges.
    

Required Qualifications:

1. 
   
2. Proven experience as a pattern maker in the clothing industry.
   
3. Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern-making techniques.
   
4. Ability to work with CAD software and other pattern-making tools.
   
5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
   
6. Diploma or certification in fashion design, garment technology, or a related field.
   
7. Experience in pattern grading and size specification development.
   
8. Knowledge of different fabrics and their impact on fit and construction.
   
9. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
   
10. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
