Job Purpose

Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of their client in the medical industry, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical operations within a regulated healthcare environment. The role involves managing the dispensing, storage, and control of medications while ensuring full compliance with national regulations and B2G operational standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe and effective patient care through accurate medication management and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

 Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with medical and regulatory

guidelines.

 Manage pharmaceutical inventory including procurement, storage, and stock control.

 Ensure compliance with national pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare standards.

 Provide professional guidance on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.

 Maintain accurate records of drug dispensation and inventory levels.

 Monitor drug safety and report adverse reactions where required.

 Collaborate with doctors and healthcare staff to optimize treatment outcomes.

 Ensure proper storage conditions for all medications.

 Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance processes.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.

 Valid professional license/registration to practice in Tanzania.

 Minimum 3–5+ years’ experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.

 Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and drug management systems.

 High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ethical responsibility.

 Strong communication and advisory skills when interacting with patients and healthcare teams.

 Experience in inventory management and stock control systems.

 Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
