Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of their client in the medical industry, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical operations within a regulated healthcare environment. The role involves managing the dispensing, storage, and control of medications while ensuring full compliance with national regulations and B2G operational standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting safe and effective patient care through accurate medication management and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with medical and regulatory
guidelines.
Manage pharmaceutical inventory including procurement, storage, and stock control.
Ensure compliance with national pharmaceutical regulations and healthcare standards.
Provide professional guidance on medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
Maintain accurate records of drug dispensation and inventory levels.
Monitor drug safety and report adverse reactions where required.
Collaborate with doctors and healthcare staff to optimize treatment outcomes.
Ensure proper storage conditions for all medications.
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Valid professional license/registration to practice in Tanzania.
Minimum 3–5+ years’ experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and drug management systems.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ethical responsibility.
Strong communication and advisory skills when interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
Experience in inventory management and stock control systems.
Ability to work in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
