Job Overview :

As a Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Your main responsibilities will include;

Checking and monitoring pending orders that have been booked. Monitoring the dispatch planner with the store supervisor ensuring that it been adhered to. Verifying that the booked orders follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle. Ensuring the approved formulation matches the actual formulation used in pipe production. Monitoring the approved production plan versus the actual ongoing production at all times Verifying the accuracy of the mixing formulations used. Recording all formulations for all pipes in production. Timely reporting of all machine breakdowns, shutdowns, and power outages. Managing the machine operators and the mixer operators Conducting regular stock taking. Monitoring stock outs and ensuring they are communicated to the production planner in a timely manner.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline 2 to 3 years of experience in a factory setup is an added advantage Experience in the manufacturing of FMCG is an added advantage Must possess strong analytical skills Proficiency in working with ERP systems is an added advantage Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
