About the Role:
Burn is looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities leading to the quality production of company products in line with customer expectations and schedules with a focus on safety to optimize processes and the costs of the production and maintenance departments.
Duties and responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the Maintenance and Production Departments Oversee production scheduling, safety, training, and production documentation Oversee preventative maintenance program of production lines, equipment, and utilities Oversee root cause analysis system for Breakdowns including hands-on repairs and fixes and prevention of the issue in the future. Implement new equipment and processes. Work with the Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to qualify new processes and equipment. Prepare leasehold improvements, equipment, people, etc. for new product launches. Responsible for process improvement and continuous improvement. Team management. Take a leadership role with the on-the-floor teams when major changes come in the factory, such as big changes in volumes, compensation, team, etc. Managing change and growth. Responsible for factory expansion and improvement projects, such as building new offices. Maintain relationships with contractors (electrical, plumbing, civil, ventilation and fabrication). Risk identification and planning for reducing factory capacity, safety and maintenance risk. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment. Leadership and Overall responsibility for factory health. Implement and manage ERP system from the production and maintenance perspectives Implementation of strategic systems, such as TPM, lean, etc.Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, administration, or facility management Minimum experience of 10 years in a supervisory production role in a manufacturing facility. Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics Effective communication and people management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentImportant Safety Tips
