Job Description
We are looking for a Program Manager will lead the design, coordination, and quality assurance of Dhako Hana’s programs for girls and women. This role ensures programs are credible, well planned, and implementable while supporting grant applications and early-stage execution. The role is a pro-bono role for 3-6 months and will transition to a paid role subject to funding.
Key responsibilities
• Lead program design, planning, and documentation
• Provide technical input for grant proposals and concept notes
• Coordinate program activities with schools and communities
• Develop simple workplans, budgets, and activity schedules
• Monitor program implementation and document results
• Prepare basic narrative reports and lessons learned
• Advise the Executive Director on program feasibility and risks
Minimum requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Education, Public Health, Development Studies, Gender Studies, Sociology, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years hands on experience in NGO or community based programs
• Experience working with women, girls, youth, health, or education initiatives
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal resources
