JOB SUMMARY
Project Estimator (Interior Finishes) – Full-Time | 100% RemoteRole OverviewAre you a construction professional with a sharp eye for drawings and a strong ability to estimate real-world project costs? We are looking for an experienced Project Estimator to support our commercial construction projects, with a primary focus on interior finishes such as flooring, tile, LVT, and wall coverings.Required QualificationsExperience: 3+ years of proven experience in construction cost estimating.Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and perform quantity takeoffs.Costing Expertise: Ability to build realistic, construction-driven budgets—not limited to plan measurements alone.Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with estimating tools (Houzz Pro, PlanSwift, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.Autonomy: Highly self-driven with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.Language: Intermediate–Advanced English (strong reading comprehension of technical documents and effective email communication required).Experience in interior finishes (flooring, tile, LVT, wall systems, etc.).Background in commercial or hospitality projects.Field experience or a strong understanding of on-site construction logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key ResponsibilitiesDocument Review: Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents for commercial projects.Quantity Takeoffs: Perform precise material takeoffs using digital tools (e.g., Houzz Pro, PlanSwift, or similar).Bid Management: Track and manage bid opportunities through platforms such as BuildingConnected.Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, and construction logistics.Scope Analysis: Identify scope gaps, inconsistencies, or omissions not clearly defined in project drawings.Internal Proposals: Prepare clear scopes of work for internal review and final bid submissions, ensuring deadlines are met.Multitasking: Manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting strict timelines.
