Job summary
The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and delivers Kwiqsurf's network expansion and infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget. The role bridges network operations, procurement, field teams, and management, ensuring new sites and upgrades are rolled out efficiently while existing projects remain on track.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and manage network expansion and upgrade projects, including new site rollouts and capacity upgrades.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans, and track progress against them.
• Coordinate between field technicians, network operations, procurement, and HR to keep projects moving.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including materials Reconciliation and installation partners.
• Track project costs against budget and report variances to management.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks (e.g. equipment delays, OLT/port capacity constraints, permitting issues) that could delay rollout.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for network elements (access points, MikroTik routers, SmartOLT/OLT devices, and other infrastructure) requiring urgent attention, working with field and network operations teams to restore service quickly.
• Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards for management review.
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation quality and project milestones.
• Ensure projects comply with company standards, safety requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Support planning for new market/site expansion, including feasibility input and timeline estimation.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, IT/Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• At least 3–5 years' experience managing infrastructure, telecom, or ISP-related projects.
• Working knowledge of ISP/GPON network deployment is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with network elements such as access points, MikroTik RouterOS, and SmartOLT/OLT systems, with the ability to respond quickly to urgent network issues.
• Proficiency in project tracking tools and Excel/reporting workbooks.
