About the Company

Lendable connects emerging and frontier market fintechs with international and local investors so that they can in turn provide financial services to those who need it the most: underbanked consumers and small businesses. We have built the technical and financial infrastructure to increase access to credit in emerging and frontier markets, including a proprietary database of over 208m loans across 28 countries. To date, we have helped more than 6.2m people get access to fair loans and deployed over $682m of capital to fintechs across Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

We are based across Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, with major hubs in London, Nairobi and Singapore. Our diverse team consists of investors, data scientists, technologists, and people who care about supporting each other and our clients. We are passionate about helping underbanked communities get access to fair financial services. Come help us build out our team and continue to grow!

About the Role

This role sits within Lendable’s Advisory Team and offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of impact investing, financial innovation, and development finance. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of Lendable’s Technical Assistance (TA) facilities and the smooth execution of Advisory Services projects.

The role is primarily focused on Project Managing Technical Assistance Programs that support Lendable’s funds and portfolio companies to enhance impact outcomes. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage donor reporting and written deliverables, liaise with portfolio companies, and work across internal teams to ensure TA activities are delivered on time, to scope, and with measurable impact.

Secondarily, you will Project Manage Advisory Services engagements, ensuring projects are well-scoped, resourced, and delivered efficiently. These engagements deliver analytics-driven insights for investors and fintech clients, supporting data-backed investment decisions and fundraising. You will act as the main coordinator of internal teams, including Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Verifications, while ensuring project documentation, reporting, and client communications are clear, timely, and of high quality.

Technical Assistance Management

Lendable launched two new funds in 2025, each supported by development finance institutions (DFIs) that provide Technical Assistance funding. The Advisory Team serves as the central coordination point for these facilities, ensuring resources are deployed effectively and aligned with both donor priorities and portfolio company needs.

As Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of TA programme delivery, including coordinating donors, portfolio companies, external consultants, and internal teams. A key responsibility is managing donor reporting and compliance, ensuring that each funder’s specific metrics, templates, and requirements are consistently met. Producing these outputs is a strategic part of the role, using data and insights from TA projects to demonstrate progress, outcomes, and measurable impact.

You will also develop TA proposals, maintain key documentation such as the Governance Handbook, and participate in donor meetings to translate their strategic priorities into actionable plans and reports. By combining project management with high-quality narrative and data-driven reporting, this role ensures TA funding is deployed effectively and generates tangible impact across Lendable’s portfolio.

Advisory Services Project Management

Lendable’s Advisory Services support investors and fintechs with tech-enabled consultancy using proprietary data tools. Investors typically seek portfolio monitoring or due diligence support, while fintechs use Advisory Services to validate performance for fundraising.

Each project is bespoke, with unique client requirements. As Project Manager, you will support solution design, proposal development and responses to RFPs in collaboration with the Director of Advisory, and ensure smooth project delivery once mandates are secured. You will coordinate internal teams such as Data Science, Engineering, and Verifications, monitor timelines and deliverables, and act as the communication bridge between clients and delivery teams.

While you will not execute the analysis, you will own the quality and timeliness of project documentation, reporting, and client communications, ensuring these outputs are integral to the successful delivery of each project.

Responsibilities

  • Client-facing engagement - You’ll build strong relationships with DFIs, donors, investors, and fintechs, providing updates on TA facilities and Advisory Services projects. You will anticipate client needs, respond promptly, and ensure reporting and deliverables meet their expectations.
  • Project Management - You will oversee multiple projects concurrently, managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks to ensure seamless delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and anticipate bottlenecks to keep projects on track.
  • Technical Assistance - You will own the full lifecycle of TA facilities, including proposal development, coordination, and delivery. Producing high-quality narrative and data-driven reports is a core strategic responsibility - these will range from quarterly KPI metric updates, to more in-depth narrative reports - as these documents communicate the impact and outcomes of TA funding to donors and internal stakeholders. You will also maintain key TA documentation and ensure compliance with donor requirements throughout each facility’s duration.
  • Advisory Services - You will project manage Advisory engagements, including scoping, resourcing, internal coordination, and post-project reviews. You will also contribute to proposal development and RFP responses, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Written Communication - This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly. You will need to produce clear, structured narrative reports for donors and support the data-driven reporting (such as dashboards) with the internal teams for the Advisory Services.
  • Entrepreneurial - You do not accept the status quo and constantly look for ways to improve workflows, automate processes, and deliver a better client experience. You will embrace a fast-moving environment, wearing multiple hats across TA and Advisory Services to drive impact and scale.

  • 4+ years project management experience in development finance, impact investing, consulting, or financial services.
  • A genuine commitment and understanding of impact is key; experience in Technical Assistance is essential

  • Excellent written communication skills (essential)
