BFA has globally-recognized expertise in understanding financial behaviors and needs of low-income consumers. By identifying needs and balancing the realities of the supply side (financial services provider) and demand side (consumer), we create products and services that generate shared value for both sides. About Catalyst Fund Catalyst Fund is a pre-seed high-impact fund backing tech startups that seek to improve the resilience of underserved, climate-vulnerable communities in Africa. It provides capital and hands-on venture-building support to mission-driven, local and women entrepreneurs. Over the past 7 years, we have backed 61 startups across 15 emerging markets. About TECA TECA works to seed fintech-enabled innovations focused on specific under-explored climate resilience themes. Our first Wave is focused on the Blue Economy in East Africa. What we seek in candidates: Familiarity with financial inclusion and digital financial services innovation for low-income populations, economic development, or the social business sector.Familiarity working with different cultures and languagesExperience with product management for low-income populations and/or in low-connectivity environments (i.e., USSD for SMS-based products)Spoken and written language proficiency other than English
