Role Overview
The Project Manager will be based in Nairobi and will oversee the end-to-end
delivery of complex ICT infrastructure, cloud migration, and enterprise
cybersecurity projects. This role requires a highly organized technical leader
who can bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and corporate client
stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and
strictly within scope.
Salary & Benefits
- Gross Salary: KES 180,000 – KES 230,000 per month (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities
- Project Initiation & Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and client stakeholders. Develop detailed project blueprints and master schedules.
- Execution & Execution Monitoring: Track project performance using KPIs, ensuring timelines are met for milestones like network deployments, software integrations, and security audits.
- Resource & Team Management: Coordinate and manage cross-functional internal teams, including network engineers, software developers, systems architects, and third-party vendors.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks (e.g., scope creep, supply chain delays for hardware, or deployment bottlenecks).
- Stakeholder & Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients. Provide regular, clear, and comprehensive progress reports to both internal executives and client steering committees.
- Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, forecast resource costs, manage change requests, and ensure all deployments align with agreed-upon client SLAs to maintain profitability.
- Quality
Assurance & Handover: Ensure all delivered infrastructure meets
strict technical benchmarks and regulatory compliance standards before
formal sign-off and handover to the client’s operations team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology (BBIT), Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven experience managing complex technical projects specifically within the Kenyan or wider East African ICT/Telecom landscape.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is highly desirable. Foundations in ITIL or cybersecurity frameworks are strong added advantages.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project). A solid conceptual understanding of enterprise networking, cloud environments, and cyber security protocols.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding negotiation, conflict-resolution, leadership, and technical communication skills. Ability to manage high-pressure situations and strict corporate timelines.
