Real-World Image Contributor

About the Role

We are building a global dataset of real-world images to train next-generation AI computer vision systems. As an AI Image Contributor, you will photograph everyday scenes and objects using your own smartphone or camera—on your own schedule, from your own location.

This is a flexible, paid contract opportunity requiring no prior photography experience. You will be compensated per approved image set submitted.

What You Will Do

For each submission, you will capture a small set of photos that includes:

• A natural scene (e.g. a kitchen counter, desk, park area, or living room)
• Individual everyday objects photographed separately
• A final scene image showing the objects placed within the environment

Types of Objects to Photograph

Common household and everyday items such as:

• Books, cups, bags, and plants
• Electronics and kitchen items
• Office supplies and other everyday objects

Suitable Photo Environments

Photos may be taken in any everyday location you have access to, for example:

• Living rooms, kitchens, home offices, or desks
• Balconies, terraces, or gardens
• Sidewalks, parks, or public outdoor spaces
• Storefronts or other public areas

What You Need

• A smartphone or camera capable of taking clear, well-lit photos
• Access to everyday indoor or outdoor environments
• Ability to follow structured photo capture and upload guidelines
• Reliable internet access to upload image sets

What You Will Submit

For each completed image set you will provide:

• A structured group of photos covering the scene, individual objects, and final composed shot
• Basic metadata about the environment and objects used
• Images uploaded in organized folders, following provided naming conventions

Who Can Apply

This role is open to anyone who meets the following:

• Can take clear photos using a smartphone or camera
• Is comfortable staging simple real-world scenes using everyday objects
• Can follow written guidelines and upload files digitally
• Is located anywhere in the world

No photography background, design experience, or specialist equipment is required.
