Job summary
The Recycling Maintenance Supervisor will supervise the plant's daily operations while ensuring efficient and safe waste processing, staff management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Job descriptions & requirements
A Education:
1. Preferably diploma/degree in Mechanical engineering or a related field.
B Relevant Previous Experience:
1) Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, processing set up.
2) A background in electrical is preferred.
C Business Understanding: Should understand: -

2. Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
3. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

1. Strong leadership and team management abilities.

G Key Responsibilities Level I
. Oversee and manage daily activities of the Recycling plant staff (including supervising people operating machines, plastic infeed sorting, maintenance and repairs) and managing attendance.
2. Implement quality control measures to ensure processed materials meet company and regulatory standards.
3. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures
4. Monitor and optimize processes to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
5. Coordinate the preventative and reactive maintenance works
6. Maintain accurate records of processes materials, equipment downtime, type of breakdowns and staff performance.
7. Prepare and submit weekly reports on performance and other OKR metrics.
8. Post petty cash requests and follow up on approval/payment.
9. Manage inventory levels of materials and coordinate with the logistics team for timely removal and transport.
10. Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment
11. Prepare and submit regular reports on plant operations, including productivity, efficiency, and OEE metrics.
12. Make sure all consumables are at the requested levels

13. Analyze and improve existing processes.
14. Implement process control systems.
15. Work with the engineering team for new equipment design and installation.
16. Data Analysis and Reporting (Use data for decision-making and process enhancements.)
17. Work with CTO to improve SOPs
Level III
18. do market research about possibilities with existing and new machinery
19. Come up with new ideas about recycling untapped material flows within the company and market
20. Being an excellent proactive communicator to ensure recycling operations are at highest OEE numbers with almost to zero input from manager
