Regional Sales Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a Sales Representative to lead our market expansion in Kenya. You will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-precision Temperature & Humidity Data Loggers. Your primary focus will be on industries where climate control is critical, including Pharmaceuticals, Horticulture (Flower Exports), Food & Beverage, and Logistics.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Business Development: Identify and tap into new market opportunities within the Kenyan pharmaceutical, laboratory, and cold chain logistics sectors.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Quality Assurance (QA) managers, Warehouse managers, and Export coordinators.
- Technical Consultation: Conduct product demonstrations and advise clients on the best monitoring solutions to meet regulatory standards (e.g., WHO/GDP guidelines).
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales KPIs.
- Market Intelligence: Provide feedback on competitor activities and local market trends to the regional head office.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in medical devices, laboratory equipment, industrial automation, or logistics services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in selling to the Horticulture (Flower/Produce) or Pharmaceutical industry in Kenya.
- Language: Native-level fluency in English and Swahili (both written and spoken).
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid Kenyan driving license and be willing to travel to client sites (e.g., Flower farms in Naivasha, warehouses in Embakasi).
