Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Research Associate / Human Resources / Talent Acquisition Expert. The role involves conducting thorough research and analysis to support initiatives related to human resources needs and talent acquisition. 

Key responsibilities include 

• identifying potential candidates and managing onboarding processes, 
• Posting jobs, screen cardidates for potential projects, 
• Create a database of experts 
• Analyzing market trends to optimize talent acquisition efforts. 

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in natural resource management, energy, environment, blue economy, and related fields 
• 2-3 years of experience in project management, communication, or relevant fields
• Familiarity with work experience in internationally funded projects such as AfDB, UNDP, UNEP, UNIDO, etc. 
• Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment strategies, and candidate sourcing preferred but not required. not required
• Knowledge in climate change, sustainability, or related fields is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams
• Relevant experience or education in human resources, business, or a related field
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities remotely
