MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
• Retail product placement: the incumbent shall be responsible to advise management on the moving products.
• Retail Product Research and analysis: The incumbent shall take a broad-view perspective of the market, competitors, and customer needs and introduce moving products at our retail shops.Â
• Strategic planning: He or she will be responsible for developing strategies to help our retail shops use resources most efficiently while maintaining competitive edge in the marketplace. This includes tactics such as pricing, distribution, and promotion.
• Positioning the business for success: The strategist shall impart knowledge of the retail products to other team members to ensure that they understand the features, advantages and benefits to easily turn around on sales.
• Entering data, maintaining databases and keeping records of discussed likely retail products befitting our business.
• Creation of product concepts: Through research, the incumbent shall come up with new concepts of products that will align with the company superior brand. They also will develop Laomai and other specific brands to the company.Â
• Overseeing of product development: He or she shall work with product development teams and product managers to ensure the product is built according to the product roadmap. They also provide feedback and direction during the development process.
• Evaluation of product performance: They will be tasked with the responsibility of product evaluations and implement strategies to clear products with long shelf stay or stagnation.
• Product packaging and product packages: The incumbent is responsible for packaging of the company products to create a superior brand, packages shall be aimed at enhancing our sales turn over.
• Design and implement visually captivating displays that showcase our products and reinforce our brand identity.
• Collaborate with the store management team to execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Ensure that all displays and merchandising fixtures are properly organized, stocked, and maintained to uphold brand standards.
• Execute planograms and floor plans to optimize product placement and maximize sales opportunities.
• Develop seasonal and promotional displays that align with marketing initiatives and drive customer engagement.
• Create signage, banners, and other visual communication materials to support promotions and highlight key product features.
• Monitor the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and make recommendations for future improvements.

SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
Education:Â
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
• Degree in Sales and Marketing.
Experience:Â
• Five (5) years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Experience in Beauty, Health and wellness industry
Skills:
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of computers (Microsoft office).
• Retail product knowledge
• Knowledge in Beauty, Wellness and Health products
• Experience in dealing with dietary supplements
