Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an RMS Operator based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The RMS Operator will be responsible for monitoring and managing remote management and monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of telecom and energy systems, and maintaining accurate records of system performance. The role also involves working collaboratively with the technical and maintenance teams to ensure optimal system functionality and quick issue resolution.

Specific Duties:

• Ensuring 100% availability of RMS • Sharing disconnection reports and timelines with ATC and Netis management

• Fuel sensor disconnection and calibration follow up

• Support second level technical RMS support.

• Support on RMS issues and follow up with Galooli Team.

• RMS reports and analysis on disconnection

• Support on RMS RCA’s and joint visits with Galooli Team 

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical engineering

• 2 years' experience in related field of electrical maintenance 

• Knowledge and experience in remote management systems, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in telecommunications and energy systems, including fiber optics and energy infrastructures
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data and recommend improvements
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and provide updates
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and adherence to safety and quality standards
• Basic knowledge of IT systems and software applications used in monitoring or technical frameworks
• Previous experience in the telecommunications or energy sector is an added advantage
•  Three-year Hands on (Maintenance/Rectification) experience with Clear understanding of AC/DC Power system, including RMS Unit, Solar, Rectifier, Rectifier Controller, DG Controller, LIB’s/LFPS configurations

• Preferable Interaction of Galooli is an added advantage

Professional Experience

• Three-year Hands on (Maintenance/Rectification) experience with Clear understanding of AC/DC Power system, including RMS Unit, Solar, Rectifier, Rectifier Controller, DG Controller, LIB’s/LFPS configurations

• Preferable Interaction of Galooli is an added advantage.
