Job Description/Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our Building and Construction growing team. This role is instrumental in driving the company's revenue growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary goal will be to increase market share, expand our customer base, achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and promoting our products/services to target markets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's success and make a significant impact in the competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and prospect potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings.
  • Nurture and maintain existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, including product prices and demand.
  • Set and achieve sales targets to contribute to business growth.
  • Generate business leads and maintain statistical data for reporting purposes.


Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing campaigns that align with sales objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and industry trends.
  • Develop targeted marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content, to support sales efforts.
  • Utilize various digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email marketing) to reach potential customers and generate leads.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns to optimize their effectiveness and return on investment.

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the company's reach and market presence.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses and propose strategies to stay competitive.


Sales Support and Reporting:

  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and performance to the management team.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure timely order processing and delivery to customers.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage leads, prospects, and customer interactions efficiently.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing roles, within the industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Excellent understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales and marketing tools.

  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Show excellent public speaking and presentation skills


Salary: KES 20,000 + Commissions.
