Job Purpose
The Sales Attendant will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced airport retail environment. The role requires a proactive, customer-focused individual who can engage travellers, promote products and services, and uphold high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers professionally and provide prompt, courteous service at all times
- Actively promote and sell company products and services to meet and exceed sales targets
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their needs
- Handle transactions accurately, including cash and electronic payments
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the work area
- Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and professionally
- Support team members to ensure seamless service delivery during peak hours
- Participate in daily briefings, promotions, and performance improvement initiatives

- Daily and monthly sales targets achievement

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service (airport or hospitality experience is an added advantage)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
