Job Overview
This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for generating leads for management information software to education institutions across Africa. The role will require cold calling, direct emailing and development of relationships with new clients to drive sales growth.
Confidence and assertiveness are vital. An applicant for this position will need to be proactive, have ambition and be able to deal with all types of people. You will need to apply your abilities to make the most of opportunities as they arise whilst developing new business opportunities with Principals, Business Managers and IT professionals within education. Communicating remotely with education institutions, you will identify business opportunities promoting value added software that will offer teachers, support staff and students an enhanced organized environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Developing new business and sales opportunities
- Cold calling / direct emailing new clients
- Achieving set call targets
- Marketing & promoting the management information software to education institutions
- Ad hoc administrative tasks
For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in a sales role
- Evidence of successful conversion of leads into sales
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Excellent selling and negotiating skills
- Energetic and ambitious
- Able to work independently
- Computer skills – Microsoft Word| Excel| Outlook
Expected Work Experience
- 2 years in telecommunication sales
- Lead generation
- Call Center experience
Location and Salary
- Location – South Africa
- Working from home (must have a laptop and good internet connection)
- Salary – R4 500 – R5 500
- Unlimited commission structure for getting clients into a demo
