SALES MANAGER - AUTOMOTIVE TYRES

Location: Mombasa |

Salary: Ksh. 120,000 (gross) + Commission

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage new leads and schedule appointments with prospective clients.

• Ensure revenue targets per customer are achieved.

• Reactivate dormant accounts and increase trading frequency.

• Handle customer issues.

• Maximize sales share within every account.

• Drive the timely collection of payments for allocated accounts.

• Ensure accounts remain within approved credit terms.

• Achieve sales budgets for allocated accounts.

• Monitor market trends and competition.

• Collaborate with marketing to tailor client proposals.

• Arrange meetings between client decision-makers and company leadership.

• Prepare weekly/monthly sales plans and activity reports

. • Share and review performance.

• Update all customer interactions on CRM (Zoho).

• Carry out any other tasks as may be assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, or Business-related field.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Sales, with a proven track record in new business acquisition, account reactivation, and strong exposure to the tyre industry and its clientele.

• Experience handling tyres, batteries, shocks, service, wiper blades, bulbs, etc., in the automotive industry is a MUST. 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to hunt for and close new business. • Ambitious, self-driven, and thrives under targets.
