Job Description


Location: Kenya
Salary: KSh 100,000 (Plus Comissions)



Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa on behalf of their client, a medical equipment distributor is hiring an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our regional sales efforts across Kenya and East Africa. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team in alignment with corporate objectives and policies.



Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
• Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets, including coaching and performance optimization.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships with distributors, healthcare institutions, and government entities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular engagement, needs assessment, and tailored solution delivery.
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs, providing actionable insights.
• Deliver product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders to highlight value propositions and drive sales conversions.
• Lead high-value negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the company Ltd and the company to ensure alignment, communication, and execution of strategies.
• Manage the sales pipeline effectively, track performance metrics, and prepare regular sales reports for management review.


Key Requirements
✓ Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (mandatory).
✓ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and business development within the medical equipment or consumables sector.
✓ Prior experience in the medical equipment or consumables sector is highly preferred; experience working with distributors is an added advantage.
✓ Demonstrated success in driving business growth, expanding market share, and achieving sales targets across Kenya and/or East Africa.
✓ Proven experience in leading and managing sales teams is strongly preferred.
✓ Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
✓ Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the region.
