Role Purpose
Talent Grid Africa is on behalf of their client in the IT industry is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and customer-focused Sales Representative to support one of its clients in expanding market presence to higher learning institutions and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will be
responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets through proactive prospecting and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers within assigned territories.
• Promote and sell the company's products and services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely product delivery.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide market feedback to management.
Qualifications and Experience
✓ Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
✓ At least 2 years of proven experience in sales or business development.
✓ Experience as a Sales Representative, preferably a lady.
✓ Familiarity with selling products to institutions and corporate organizations.
✓ Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
✓ Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
✓ Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
✓ Good organizational and time management skills.
✓ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
