Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree Or Diploma In Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Or A Related Field.
- Strong Understanding Of The Kenyan Construction And Manufacturing Sectors.
- Valid Driving License And Willingness To Travel Extensively Across Kenya.
Experience:
- Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Sales, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.
- Mandatory Experience In Selling Steel Products, Building Materials, Roofing Products, Structural Steel, Reinforcement Steel, Pipes, Tubes, Or Other Construction Related Materials.
- Proven Experience Managing B2b Customers, Distributors, Contractors, And Institutional Accounts.
- Experience In Tendering, Project Sales, And Key Account Management Is An Added Advantage.
Responsibilities: -
- Supervise, Coach, And Motivate The Sales Team To Achieve Monthly And Annual Sales Targets.
- Develop And Implement Sales Strategies To Increase Market Share Across Kenya.
- Identify And Pursue New Business Opportunities Within Construction Companies, Contractors, Government Institutions, Ngos, Manufacturers, And Industrial Clients.
- Manage Relationships With Distributors, Dealers, Stockists, Fabricators, And Key Accounts.
- Conduct Regular Market Visits To Understand Customer Needs, Competitor Activities, Pricing Trends, And Emerging Opportunities.
- Prepare Sales Forecasts, Budgets, And Performance Reports.
- Monitor Sales Team Performance And Provide Ongoing Training And Support.
- Coordinate With Production, Logistics, And Finance Departments To Ensure Efficient Order Fulfillment And Customer Satisfaction.
- Participate In Contract Negotiations, Tender Submissions, And Large Project Quotations.
- Ensure Effective Debt Management And Timely Collection Of Customer Payments.
