JOB TITLE: SCREEN PRINTING TECHNICAL OPERATOR
NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

SALARY: KSHS. 25,000-40,000
JOB LOCATION: MOMBASA ROAD
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manning/Production
- Mix inks accurately to match required color specifications
- Align screens and materials precisely to ensure correct image placement and registration
- Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues such as ink smudging, misalignment, or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed production records, including quantities, materials used, and job specifications
- Manning the machine assigned to him/her.
- Making sure that goods produced are of good quality and meeting the daily target of the machine.
- Conduct routine quality checks and package products according to established guidelines.
- Making sure that machine breakdown takes the shortest time possible
- Carry out proper line clearance together with quality Assurance Assistant.
- Manage material flow to reduce waste and avoid product damage.
Planning
- Making sure that issued materials have been picked from the stores in time to avoid delays.
- Organizing for flaming, printing, drying and packaging in an optimal way.
Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all screen-printing equipment
- Making sure that the machine is always clean and free from oil leakages, ink spillage Monitor machine operating parameters and report any abnormality to the maintenance technician as well as machine operator.
- Correct filling of work order forms
Working Area /Health and Safety
- Making sure that working area is kept clean always and factory cleaning days have been observed always
- Making sure that he observes and follows all the communicated safety procedures.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma/Certificate in printing or mechanical engineering
- Over 3 years experience in screen printing as a machine attendant or technical operator
- Experience working in a plastic industry will be an added advantage
- Has worked with automatic screen printing and manual printing, Knowledge of other forms of printing like offset/ flexo is added advantage
