SECURITY GUARD

The Academic Model Providing Access for Health Care (AMPATH) is a project under the auspices of Moi University School of Medicine, Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) and Consortium of North American Universities whose aim is to provide sustainable efforts in access to health care and to conduct Research and Training. AMPA4“1-I also supports the Ministry of health in ten (10) Counties of Western Kenya, Nyanza and North Rift Region.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following vacant position under IIGH KENYA to be based at IU HOUSE, ELDORET.

POSITION: SECURITY GUARD (1 POSITION)

SITE: MTRH

GRADE: RS 4

Reporting to the security supervisor, the successful candidate will perform duties which include but not limited to the following:

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Access controls; monitor and control access to building entrances and vehicle gates

• Detection and prevention of theft

• Prevention of damages and loss

• Patrolling premises randomly and regularly, including building and perimeter.

• Intelligence gathering

• Provision of good customer care to the guest and staff

• Enforcing the laid down authority's rules and regulation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum KCSE mean grade of D plain

• At least (1 ) one-year experience working in a similar post

• Must be trained in firefighting and first aid

• Training on security related will be an added advantage

• Should be a person of high integrity

• Keen surveillance skill and detail orientation

• Must be fluent in both English and Kiswahili

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
