Job Purpose
Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our client, a leading private security services provider, is looking for Security Officers who will be responsible for maintaining absolute physical security coverage, asset protection, and operational safety protocols across assigned premises. This position functions as a crucial operational link between corporate field management and daily site surveillance, ensuring immediate emergency response, strict loss prevention, and optimal asset preservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic foot and motorized patrols across assigned security zones to deter breaches.
• Manage strict perimeter access control for all incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, and machinery.
• Monitor electronic surveillance feeds, CCTV arrays, and biometric systems to detect irregularities.
• Respond rapidly to alarms, physical intrusions, medical emergencies, and dynamic workplace hazards.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and compile detailed entries within site occurrence books.
• Supervise and coordinate lower-tier guarding assets to enforce universal compliance with safety drills.
• Conduct regular structural security checks on doors, fences, and gates to eliminate vulnerabilities.

• Mitigate corporate loss by implementing strict, verified vehicle inspection and material gate-pass protocols.

• Provide emergency first-responder assistance and execute clear evacuation procedures during active site crises.
• Liaise directly with local national law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents.

Qualifications
✓ National Youth Service (NYS) Graduate.
✓ 1–2 years of proven experience in active private security, tactical operations, or asset
protection.
✓ Minimum KCSE qualification (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education).
✓ Formal, certified Security Training from a recognized security academy or
paramilitary institution.
✓ Valid Driving License with a clean operational record.
✓ High-level situational awareness, rapid stress management, and physical fitness to
handle field duties.
✓ Strong written and verbal communication skills for maintaining precise operations
logs.
