The Skipper is responsible for safely operating and navigating Victory Farms’ fleet vessels, including the newly added 11-meter catamaran and other boats ranging from 8 to 14 meters. The role ensures compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company operating procedures while fostering a disciplined, safety-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities
● Safely operate and navigate the 11‑meter catamaran and other fleet vessels (8–14 meters).
● Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and Victory Farms’ operating procedures.
● Conduct pre‑departure inspections, routine maintenance checks, and safety drills.
● Supervise crew and passengers, delivering clear safety briefings and maintaining a safe onboard environment.
● Maintain accurate logs covering voyages, incidents, and maintenance activities.
● Execute docking, anchoring, and vessel handling with precision.
● Respond effectively to emergencies, mechanical issues, and changing environmental conditions.
● Coordinate with operations teams to support efficient fleet scheduling and logistics
Academic and Professional Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years of experience as a skipper or boat captain, preferably with catamarans or vessels between 8–14 meters.
● Diploma or degree in Marine Navigation, Nautical Science, or a related maritime discipline (preferred).
● Valid boat operating license and current safety certifications (STCW or equivalent).
● Strong technical knowledge of navigation, seamanship, and vessel handling under varying conditions.
● Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
● Practical capability in routine vessel maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
● Additional marine or technical certifications are an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
● Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage crew and engage passengers professionally.
● Excellent communication skills for delivering safety briefings and coordinating with operations teams.
● High level of discipline, safety awareness, and operational focus.
● Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure, especially in emergencies.
