Sound Engineer – Intern (3 Months Internship)

Our client, a religious institution seeks a Sound Engineer - intern to join the Media Department. The position offers hands-on experience across live production and creative media within an active ministry setting.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Assist in filming services, events, and productions (multi-camera setup where applicable).
  

• 
  
• Handle sound equipment setup and operation for services and recordings.
  

• 
  
• Edit video content for YouTube, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
  

• 
  
• Create basic graphic designs (thumbnails, posters, overlays, visual assets).
  

• 
  
• Support post-production processes including social media scheduling and posting.
  

• 
  
• Collaborate with the Media Lead to ensure high-quality outputs.
  

Basic to intermediate experience in:

  • Camera operation

  • 
    
  • Video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent)

  • Graphic design tools (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, or equivalent)

  • Sound mixing/technician work

• Strong creativity and willingness to learn under supervision.

• High flexibility for long work hours (early morning set-ups and late-night wrap-ups).

• Team player with good communication skills.

• Residing near Nairobi CBD/Westlands area highly encouraged.
