Job Description (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In , CURE International, in cooperation with the African Inland Church, opened the AIC-CURE International Hospital in Kijabe, Kenya. Along with being CURE’s first hospital, CURE Kenya was Africa’s first orthopedic pediatric teaching hospital for children with disabilities. The 30-bed hospital provides care for children suffering from a wide range of orthopedic conditions, such as clubfoot, burn contractures, osteomyelitis, and other acquired or congenital conditions. The hospital also conducts mobile clinics to identify children in remote areas who can be treated at the hospital and to provide follow-up care for those who have received surgery. Located in the Rift Valley city of Kijabe, the hospital attracts patients from every region of the country. Through the training of surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals, CURE Kenya aims to improve the country’s overall capacity to treat disabled children.About the job Evangelize patients and their familiesConduct Bible Studies for the patients and their familiesCounsel and Encourage parents as per their needsWrite Patient Stories based on the given guidelinesCoordinate other daily Spiritual activities in the clinic.Facilitate access by patients and families to relevant faith-based literature, books, and BiblesConduct spiritual follow-ups of new believers realized due to the ministry conducted.In consultation with the Spiritual Centre Associate, record and Submit weekly reports to generate monthly reports.Provide pastoral care for co-workers through devotions, prayer, counseling, and discipleship programs promoting integral ministry.Promote peace and love among other staff within the hospital.Comply with quality management system requirements in promoting quality service delivery.Observe and maintain all CURE quality and departmental annual set objectives.As an integral part of the Spiritual team, work with the spiritual center co-workers to achieve the set goals and objectives and participate in any other duty assigned by the Spiritual Centre administration. Minimum Education Required Diploma in Biblical Theology, mission ministry, ChaplaincyCounseling or Psychology will be an added advanctage
