Job Description/Requirements

We are a private limited company, trading in beer and spirits distribution on behalf of Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL). We are looking for an experienced stock controller to join our team. The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the daily management and reconciliation of warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock handling processes. This role is critical in maintaining inventory integrity, optimizing warehouse operations, and providing exceptional service to our customers.


Key Responsibilities

°  Conduct daily stock taking in the warehouse and reconcile with Navision system records.

°  Implement and oversee the automation of warehouse processes to enhance efficiency.

°  Ensure adherence to warehouse standard operating procedures.

°  Store inventory in accordance with company policies.

°  Optimize the use of existing warehouse tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition.

°  Complete all transfer postings to virtual locations by 10:00 AM daily.

°  Verify signed invoices for key accounts and self-collection customers and manage picking lists.

°  Ensure customer and sales team satisfaction by fulfilling orders ON TIME & IN FULL.

°  Accurately record all stock purchases and van transfers in the stock book and DMS System.

°  Receive products from EABL and ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are accurately filled, signed, and stamped.

°  Controlling FEFO and FIFO in the warehouse and ensuring documented records

°  Maintain product quality and ensure only high-quality products are sold to customers.


Skills

Knowledge of warehouse operations

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.


Experience:

At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry (experience with an alcoholic beverage firm is an added advantage).


Education

Degree in Procurement and Supply chain or any Business-related field.

Computer literacy and proficiency in using Inventory management software
