Role Description The Store Manager role at Hotspot Electronics Ke is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Store Manager oversees day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring the sales floor is organized, safe, and well-presented. Responsibilities include leading and coaching team members, monitoring sales targets, managing inventory levels, and implementing retail loss prevention measures. The role involves handling customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction, and maintaining store policies and procedures. The Store Manager also supports basic administrative tasks such as reporting, cash management, and coordination with suppliers and senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
- Demonstrated Store Management capabilities, with experience in supervising staff and overseeing retail operations.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard inventory and reduce shrinkage.
- Previous experience in retail or electronics sales is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Nairobi County, Kenya and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Solid organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Basic proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management tools; computer literacy is an advantage.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
