Male Suit Tailor – Job Description
A Male Suit Tailor is responsible for creating, altering, repairing, and fitting men’s suits according to customer measurements, style preferences, and company quality standards. The tailor ensures all garments are professionally finished, comfortable, and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Take accurate body measurements for clients.
Design, cut, sew, and assemble men’s suits, jackets, trousers, and waistcoats.
Perform fittings and make adjustments to achieve the perfect fit.
Alter and repair existing garments as requested by customers.
Select and work with different fabrics and materials suitable for men’s suits.
Operate sewing machines, cutting tools, pressing equipment, and other tailoring machinery safely and efficiently.
Ensure all garments are completed within the required timelines.
Advise customers on suit styles, fabrics, colors, and fitting options.
Maintain high standards of workmanship, finishing, and garment presentation.
Inspect completed garments for quality control before delivery.
Keep accurate records of customer measurements and orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the tailoring workshop.
