Role Description
The Technical Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site position based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role involves identifying client needs and presenting tailored technology solutions, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets through direct engagement with prospects and existing customers. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering sales presentations, preparing proposals, conducting product demonstrations, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The candidate will also provide technical expertise to clients, gather market intelligence, and adapt strategies to meet evolving customer needs.
Objectives of the role
Analyzing and understanding customer needs and aligning product offerings with their
requirements.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers by discussing and explaining technical
concepts simply throughout the sales process.
Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations to showcase the
value of our solutions.
Work closely with the sales, pre-sales engineers, and implementation departments of the
company when needed, to design customized solutions that address clients' specific needs.
Create detailed proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and
Implementation plans to effectively communicate the value proposition of the proposed
solutions.
Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to increase customer satisfaction and
loyalty.
Researching the current market trends and learning about new technology products.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in any engineering course,IT or science.
• Proven experience in corporate technical sales.
• 3+ years’ experience in sales to corporates with interactions with higher management
within these organizations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface effectively with clients.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Sales-driven mindset with a customer-centric approach.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
