Technical Sales Representative
Job summary
OHR is recruiting for the position of a Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a reputable client in the sound systems industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving frontline sales, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, generating leads, and ensuring a seamless sales-to-delivery process.
Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Promptly and professionally attend to all customers, including walk-ins, referrals, and leads, ensuring a positive experience.
· Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
· Generate new sales leads and actively follow up to convert them into customers.
· Prepare and process Proforma Invoices (PFIs) and Sales Order Forms (SOFs) accurately and promptly.
· Follow up on payments and coordinate product delivery schedules efficiently.
· Maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
· Support product demonstrations and actively showcase product features to clients.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
· Assist in the development and implementation of sales promotions and campaigns.
· Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate where necessary.
· Track daily sales activities, maintain accurate sales records, and report performance metrics.
· Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales growth strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
· 3+ years of proven experience in sales or customer relationship management.
· Experience in retail, B2B sales, or product-based sales is an added advantage.
· Basic technical knowledge of speakers and sound systems.
· Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital sales tools.
· Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
· Good moral standing.
· Ability to work independently and within a team.
