Ideal Inks & Coatings Ltd is a leading East African manufacturer of flexographic and rotogravure inks, serving the printing and packaging industry across Kenya and Tanzania.

We are looking for an ambitious and technically minded Technical Sales Representative to join our Tanzania team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, conducting product trials, and driving profitable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the printing and packaging industry.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular visits and relationship management.
• Conduct product trials, technical evaluations, and customer demonstrations in collaboration with the technical team.
• Follow up on quotations, samples, and sales opportunities to drive conversion into orders.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and deliver against monthly sales targets.
• Act as the primary contact for customers on commercial and technical matters.
• Work closely with Production, QC, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely collections.
• Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and sales records within the company ERP and CRM systems.
• Submit regular sales activity, pipeline, and market intelligence reports.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Sales &
• Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales.
• Experience in inks, coatings, chemicals, printing, packaging, or manufacturing industries will be a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven, organized, and results-oriented.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and convert opportunities into sales.
