DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Travel Planning & Itinerary Management
- Research and design customized travel itineraries that match clients’ preferences, budgets, and schedules.
- Provide expert recommendations on destinations, activities, accommodations, and transportation.
- Coordinate multi-destination trips, ensuring smooth logistics and time management.
- Keep up to date with travel regulations, visa requirements, and local protocols where applicable.
Client Relationship Management
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and in- person meetings.
- Handle client concerns, complaints, or last-minute changes to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Sales & Marketing Support
- Promote and sell tour packages, holiday specials, and add-on services.
- Assist in marketing campaigns, including social media promotion, events, and collaborations with partners.
- Track sales leads, follow up with potential clients, and achieve or exceed sales targets.
Booking & Travel Logistics
- Manage all aspects of travel arrangements including flight bookings, hotel reservations, transport, and activities.
- Liaise with travel suppliers, tour operators, and local vendors to confirm services.
- Prepare accurate travel documents, confirmations, and itineraries for clients.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain comprehensive records of bookings, client preferences, and payments.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, client feedback, and trends in the travel industry.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management for group tours or corporate travel.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a busy travel or tours company
- Proven experience in itinerary planning, tour management, and customer service
- Strong knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, accommodation, and visa processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel booking software
