About the Opportunity
A rapidly growing vertically integrated agri products platform in East Africa is looking to hire a Warehouse Implementation Lead to support the setup and stabilization of a new centralized warehouse operation serving multi country business operations.
This is a highly hands on role focused on warehouse operational build out, inventory controls, process implementation, and warehouse stabilization.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Contract Duration: 9 to 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Compensation: 300,000 to 350,000 KES per month (approx. USD 2,300 to 2,700 per month)

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Design & Operational Setup
• Develop warehouse layouts, storage flow, and space optimization plans
• Support warehouse infrastructure setup and operational readiness
• Lead warehouse operationalization and stabilization activities
Inventory Controls & Systems
• Establish inventory control mechanisms including binning, barcoding, and counting cycles
• Develop SOPs and warehouse process workflows
• Implement inbound, storage, picking, dispatch, and stock movement processes
• Ensure high inventory accuracy and operational visibility
Operations Management
• Lead stock migration and warehouse transition activities
• Drive operational discipline, housekeeping, and safety standards
• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain stakeholders
Performance & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and operational metrics
• Identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities
• Drive process efficiency and warehouse optimization initiatives
Preferred Candidate Profile
• 7 to 12+ years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations experience
• Proven experience in warehouse implementation, setup, or operational transformation projects
• Strong background in inventory management and stock controls
• Hands on exposure to ERP or WMS enabled warehouse environments
• Strong process orientation and operational execution capability
• Experience across FMCG, Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Agri Business, or related sectors preferred
• Exposure to 3PL, bonded warehouse, or regulated warehouse operations will be an added advantage
Candidate Preference
• Indian candidates with strong warehouse implementation expertise will be preferred
• Candidates currently based in Kenya, East Africa, or other international markets may also apply
• Professionals willing to work on a contract based assignment and relocate to Kenya are encouraged to apply
Contract & Future Opportunity
This is a 9 to 12 month project based assignment focused on warehouse setup and operational stabilization. There may be potential for further engagement or long term opportunities subject to individual performance and future business requirements.
