Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Writer role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Writer will create, edit, and proofread legal content and other written materials for various internal and external communications. Responsibilities include researching legal topics, developing creative and accurate written materials, maintaining consistent tone and style, and working closely with the legal team to ensure accuracy and excellence in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong Research and Analytical skills for gathering and interpreting legal information
• Exceptional Writing, Editing, and Proofreading skills with a clear, professional communication style
• Creative Writing skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into accessible language
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management
• Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is advantageous
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Law, or a related field
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative on-site environment
• Prior writing experience in a legal, academic, or corporate setting is a plus
