Pharmaceutical Technologist - Nyahururu

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Provide quality customer service to patients and other healthcare providers.
• Verify prescription information and dosage.
• Accurately and efficiently servicing prescription orders.
• Entering patient and order information into the pharmacy system for walk in clients.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles including lists of medications taken by individual patients.
• Order, label and count stock of medications and enter inventory data into the computer.
• Mix pharmaceutical preparations according to written prescription.
• Verify stock levels and inform supervisor of stock needs and shortages.

 

 

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

 

• Holder of diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution.
• Must have a practice license duly issued by Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
• 2 years of experience in a busy setting and or hospital.
• Knowledge and experience with pharmacy operations software.
