Purpose of the Role The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and preparing accurate reports to support decision-making within the healthcare unit. Operational Reporting: Hospital Manager (Day-to-day unit operations)
Periodic Reporting: Management Accountant (Monthly/Quarterly reporting)
๐ Key Responsibilities
Record, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial transactions in the ERP system.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and debtor reconciliations.
Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions compliance.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management initiatives.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal financial policies.
Liaise with auditors and support internal control reviews.
Prepare periodic management reports for decision-making.
Provide financial guidance to operational teams and ensure superior customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

๐ Qualifications & Experience
Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA (K) or ACCA qualification.
3โ5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or service industry.
