Job summary

We are a well-established real estate company based in Parklands, Nairobi, specializing in property sales, rentals, and property management. We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations and support business growth. Preference: Indian ethnicity female candidates are preferred to fit with the company’s operational and client engagement needs.

Job descriptions & requirements

Location: Parklands, Nairobi
Salary: Ksh 60,000 – 80,000 (Based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
• Manage full set of accounts including receivables, payables, and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle rent collections, commissions, expenses, and property income reconciliation
• Manage payroll processing and statutory deductions (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF)
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure tax compliance
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasting
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Work closely with management on financial planning and decision-making
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax authorities when required

Qualifications & Education
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA (K) / ACCA qualification or ongoing certification is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and compliance

Experience Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years proven experience as an Accountant (real estate or property management experience is a strong advantage)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or similar)
• Experience handling rental income and property financial records
