JOB DESCRIPTION
Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in accordance with accounting principles and standards
- Process invoices/ receipt to clients and following with payment.
- Manage debtors and other receivables by initiating and following up on timely collections to maintain healthy cash flows.
- Periodically reconcile debtor accounts by accurately matching payments to outstanding invoices and resolving discrepancies.
Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Maintain proper documentation for tax purposes and respond to tax authority queries
- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise management accordingly.
Payroll:
- Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification accounting experience
- Understanding of Kenyan tax laws and compliance requirements
- A strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word
