JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform accurate fault diagnosis using scan tools, live data, and logical step-by-step processesInterpret fault codes correctly and verify issues before replacing any componentsCarry out electrical and mechanical diagnostics (including sensors, wiring, fuel, air, and control systems)Read and apply wiring diagrams and repair information when diagnosing faultsIdentify root cause of issues, not just symptomsFollow structured job procedures and workshop checklists for all repairsConduct proper testing and verification after repairs to confirm faults are resolvedMaintain high standards of workmanship and avoid shortcutsKeep tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and properly storedDocument diagnostic findings and communicate clearly with supervisorEscalate complex issues when necessary, with proper explanation of work already doneEnsure all removed parts are labeled and stored correctly during repairsAdhere to workshop safety standards and correct use of tools and equipmentKeep work area neat and clean.
